Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.
Proverbs 16:3 NLT
Commitment is not as easy as it sounds! Commitment is the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, a pledge, or undertaking. It’s also an obligation that restricts freedom of action.
The Secret to Success is to learn Christ’s way of being; our thoughts should be on Christ, our words, and actions should reflect God’s word and His way of being.
God’s view of success is directly tied to faithfulness and walking with Christ. As a Christian, being successful should always be about living in God’s purpose for your life. The ministry in front of us is appointed by God; it is not a matter of size, wealth, or competition. To put this into proper perspective, when we consider the calling of God on our lives, there’s no room for pride or comparison but simply, “Yes God, your will be done. Use me God, any ‘ole way you want to.”
We should have a spirit of humility that the more God gives us, the more humble we need to become.
While we yet live in a world that is filled with darkness, we are called to be the light. In order for the light to shine and shine brightly, we must commit ourselves wholeheartedly to God through our ways, our thoughts, our deeds, and actions.
This commitment does not come without sacrifice. There will be times when you want to give up. Be encouraged, because it is in those times I implore you to press harder, and seek God more through reading, fasting, and praying.
There is no one else who can take a little and make it enough. For everyone who asks, receives; everyone who seeks, finds, and everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:8
Let us focus on utilizing and maximizing what our heavenly Father has given us. The secret to success in all aspects is trusting God, committing to Him, and obeying God’s principles written for our daily living.
Whatever you do, whatever you are going through, give it to God, be encouraged, and be patient.
